Live on stage: bsurance
One of the highlights (probably also seen through the bsurance glasses) was the stage appearance of our Chief Sales Officer, Franz-Xaver Burner.

On day 2 of the event the interested audience could get an idea of the B2B2C model of bsurance. From the already embedded dental accident insurance to the mobile phone insurance attached to the actual cell phone, or the flight delay insurance already embedded in the payment process: the possibilities of insurance products that can be sold bundled with products are almost endless. This is ensured by bsurance’s cloud-based digital platform, which can be connected to virtually any system via API interfaces.
Another highlight was the panel discussion “The Investor Perspective”, moderated by UNIQA Ventures CEO Andreas Nemeth. The high-calibre panel consisted of a number of participants: Amir Kapir (Munich Re Ventures), Doug Russell (MassMutual Ventures), Egbert Bierman (Transamerica Ventures) and Sibylle Fischer (Baloise Group) and shared their views on the future of the Insurtechs.

However, one question remained unanswered: How and when Brexit will take place. At this time next year at the latest, however, we should already know.
