Our CEO Lorenz Gräff also accepted an invitation and shared his forward-looking vision with the interested audience. His topic: “From purchase to use – and what role can insurance play in this? After all, one of the fundamental megatrends of our time has the potential to have a major impact on the retail trade: the shift away from pure product sales to the use of products and services. Insurance services can make an important contribution to this, namely the formation of ecosystems together with trade and product partners. These ecosystems primarily serve customer benefits: The needs of the modern consumer are met more simply, quickly and comprehensively. The higher perceived customer benefit increases customer satisfaction and thus also ensures the long-term success of the partners.

Of course, the lecture fit perfectly into the varied conference program, which highlighted the central questions of retail in the digital age: digital ecosystems and marketplaces, artificial intelligence and social robotics, intelligent inventory and logistics as well as networked and autonomous retail.
The eventful conference day ended for our guests with networking events in a pleasant atmosphere. For bsurance it was already time to move on to the next event: InsurTech Rising International in Paris!
